Training opt-out
A setting or contract term that prevents a vendor from using your prompts, files, or outputs to train its models.
Definition
Many consumer AI products use interactions for training by default and provide a settings toggle to opt out; business and API plans typically exclude training by default. Terms differ by product and plan, and opt-outs may not cover all data types. Reviewing the policy and enabling opt-out is a basic step for work use.
