Privacy policy
This launch policy describes the production behavior of ToolsRank. It must be reviewed for the operating entity and jurisdiction before broader collection of personal data.
Data we handle
Browsing may produce security, performance, and aggregated usage logs. A tool submission or correction can include contact details, product information, and private submission images. Newsletter signup includes an email address. If you choose Google sign-in, the private profile stores your Firebase UID, name, email, avatar URL, provider, and account timestamps; ToolsRank never receives your Google password. Saved tools and theme preference remain on your device.
Why we use it
We use data to operate and secure the directory, preserve contribution ownership, respond to submissions and corrections, measure product usefulness, prevent manipulation, and send requested updates. We do not sell personal information.
Infrastructure and retention
Production uses Firebase Authentication, Firestore, App Check, Cloud Storage, and App Hosting. Submission images and queue records remain private to their owner and authorized moderators. Data is retained only as required for the stated workflow, security, disputes, and legal obligations. Exact retention schedules will be finalized with the operating entity and email configuration.
Your choices
You can sign out from the account menu and request access, correction, deletion, or newsletter removal by emailing privacy@toolsrankai.com. Local saves can be cleared through your browser storage.
